I look in the mirror, what do I see?

And discovering the real me, with nothing to hide.

For the journey within, is my destiny.

I’ll find the real me, and what I’m meant to be,

And in that discovery, I’ll finally be free.

For who am I? It’s a question that I’ll finally solve,

And in that answer, I’ll find the truth, and evolve.

Who am I, I often wonder

A mere mortal, a distant thunder

I change with the times, the seasons

A chameleon, without good reason

I try to fit in, but don’t belong

I sing my own song, but it’s all wrong

I long to be known, to be seen

But I’m just a shadow, a fading dream
